Chuck Bongiovanni, MSW, MBA, CSA, CFE, CPRS has been a pioneer in the senior placement and referral industry for almost 30 years.

He is the President of the National Placement and Referral Alliance, which is the national trade association for the senior placement industry. He is the founder of CarePatrol Franchise Systems, the largest senior placement company in the nation which was acquired by the private equity group, The Riverside Company / Best Life Brands in 2018. He is currently the co-founder of Majestic Residences Residential Care Home Franchise System.

Chuck is a recognized name within the assisted living and residential care home industry and brings with him a lifetime of unique, innovative and disruptive marketing concepts which have filled well over 100,000 assisted living and residential home beds across the country. He has spoken over 100 times on the subject of patient choice in regional and national healthcare conferences and has been the recipient of numerous assisted living franchise business awards.

Options For Senior Living

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University in 1986. Since 2000, his sole focus has been on the care and service of seniors, particularly in the area of senior mental health with an emphasis on seniors suffering from dementia. He has been a leader at developing and implementing a code of ethics and standards of best practice for the non-regulated senior living referral industry and is President and Co-founder of the Professional Association of Senior Referral Specialists (PASRS), a group that is dedicated to those causes. His company, Options for Senior Living was founded in 2003 to provide a professional consultation and guidance service to families and seniors seeking assisted living. He has served over 2000 families in the past 13 years, many of those who have had a loved one suffer from some form of dementia.

Scott has had a variety of healthcare and business experiences in the past 30 years. His career has been dedicated to the health care industries, working for years in nursing administration, nursing education, mental health and home health nursing. Scott has a passion for teaching, and he was also the former co-host of a radio program called Planning Past 50, which addressed a myriad of life issues, including health care decisions and financial planning for those who in the 50’s and older. He has been an avid reader and loves music and baseball.

Frank Samson is the Founder and CEO of Senior Care Authority, a leading national Eldercare Consulting franchisor.

Samson, who started the business in 2009 and began franchising the concept in 2014, has also authored a book, The Aging Boomers, Answers to Critical Questions for You, Your Parents and Loved Ones, and hosts a regular podcast and syndicated radio show called Boomers Today.

Frank holds much respect for his franchise owners. He values their feedback, and he is truly open to making improvements to the company based on their input. That very respect, coupled with an extraordinarily creative business mind is at the source of what has made Senior Care Authority so successful.

Frank sums up what his ultimate win-win relationship is with his franchise business owners…helping people in business who are helping others find peace, hope, and solutions during some of the darkest times of their lives.

Linda Armas has over 25 years' experience in the healthcare industry, with a BA in Biology, and a Certificate and specialized training in Gerontology. She has been a Certified Senior Advisor since 2010, and became a Certified Placement and Referral Specialist in 2020. She has been an RCFE (Residential Care for Elderly) licensed Administrator through State of CA Dept. of Social Services since 2007.

Linda is a Founding National Board member of National Placement and Referral Alliance, a Board member of North Orange County Senior Collaborative, co-chair of Elder Abuse work group, and she is a Board member and 2020 President of Orange Senior Center.

Linda provides experienced, compassionate, no-cost, personalized services to help seniors and their families find the right alternative living situation and resources if they are no longer able to safely live in their own home.

Russell Morgan has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Assisted Living Locators since January 2019. He continues to own two franchise territories in Portland, Oregon, purchased in 2017, which are managed by his employees. From April 2011 to December 2015, he served as Senior Vice-President, Technology/Operations VLGroup (a digital marketing agency) in Chicago, Illinois, after selling AppliedSB, a digital content delivery business he founded in January , 2006, to VLGroup. From January 2016 through February of 2017, he served as a business consultant in Portland, Oregon.

Russell has extensive background in operations, systems development, marketing and product management developed during a lengthy career at AT&T ending in 2000 as the Region President – SW Region and as the CMO and CIO of a competitive local telephone company, IONEX, ending in 2003. He started and ran a Dallas, TX-based consulting firm, ChangeAgent, from 2003-2005.

Michelle is a Certified Senior Advisor with more than 20 years of experience in the long term care industry. In addition to over six years guiding and directing families as a consultant, she has been an assisted living administrator, regional sales manager for assisted living providers, and an admissions/marketing director for skilled nursing facilities. She has also been a healthcare recruiter and staff retention consultant for 17 nursing facilities, and managed operations of nine Certified Nursing Assistant training schools and a nursing pool of 70+ licensed nurses. She has a wealth of knowledge to share with families who are seeking the right care options for their loved ones.

Michelle Woodbrey is the Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of 2Sisters Senior Living Advisors, a local, woman-owned, senior living placement and referral service. She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a Certified Placement & Referral Specialist (CPRS), and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), as well as a public speaker. Michelle is the current Vice President for the Cape Cod Women’s Association. She also sits on the board of directors for the South Shore Conference for Women and the National Placement and Referral Alliance (NPRA). She was a Cape & Plymouth Business’ 40 Under 40 Award honoree in 2016 and, in 2019, her company, 2Sisters Senior Living Advisors, was chosen by SCORE as The Small Business of the Year.

Michelle is passionate about helping adult children to determine a strategic plan for remaining sane, even when in the midst of caring for aging parents. She is a highly-motivated self-directed learner, a passionate entrepreneur and leader within her community. She lives on Cape Cod with her husband, beautiful 7 year-old daughter and their energetic mutt, named Rambo. Michelle’s father has been living with Parkinson’s Disease for over a decade. She now also helps to manage his needs and those of her mother. Of the things Michelle feels most grateful for, it is the opportunity to work and own a business with her sister/best friend, Alyson Powers.

Carrie Coumbs is an influential, lead with a smile, networking healthcare professional that is interested in meeting everyone in the room. Seriously, she will talk to anyone; A skill that has sparked conversation with lonely seniors, a Hollywood actors, A 70’s rock idol and numerous C-Suite types over the years. As a devoted care collaborator, Carrie finds reasons to connect business professionals that would otherwise not have met nor had knowledge of the person and their related industry. Introducing people to new prospects and opportunities to provide excellence in care is the best part of her day.

As a public speaker and contributing educator, she often quotes Simon Sinek and Dr. Seuss, both she finds entertaining and relevant to the world of business and senior care. For fun these days, she hangs out with a few eldercare visionaries that are eager to change senior housing options and serves as an Advisory Board member of Minka Homes and Communities.

With over twenty years of geriatric care experience, Ms. Coumbs has been a member of Aging 2.0, American Seniors Housing Association and Argentum, representing the health care service lines of home health, hospice and personal home care, collaborating with people across the country. Currently, Carrie serves as the Vice President of Health Innovation for Right at Home, LLC in Omaha, Nebraska.
