CPRS Member renewals are $159, non-member renewals are $189.

Initial application must be made through the CPRS Remote Registration link in the menu above. 

To renew your CPRS certification, click the link to the right below in the blue box that says, "Apply".


CPRS
The Placement and Referral agent performs a level of care intake to assist clients locate and identify independent living, assisted living, residential care and memory care communities that are appropriate for the client’s needs and preferences. The Placement and Referral agent also refers clients to other professionals when services are required that are outside of the Placement and Referral agent’s professional abilities.

The CPRS exam is a competency-based assessment of an agent's knowledge and understanding of the industry standards and guidelines and NPRA Best Practices. Information about the CPRS exam, how it was developed, eligibility requirements, the exam process, and maintaining certification can be found in the CPRS Exam Candidate Handbook.

In order to earn the CPRS Certification, candidates must first meet the eligibility requirements, and then must register for and pass the certification examination. NPRA will not grant a certification to any individual based on education and/or experience, as all CPRS certifications must be earned. CPRA Certifications are valid for one year, to maintain certification, an annual certification fee is due. However, 10 hours or more of CPRS-approved continuing education and applicable renewal fees must be sent to the NPRA to maintain your certification on an annual basis.
