Liz Fischer worked in the large corporate world and for several non-profits before finding her passion working with seniors and their families. Like so many others Liz has had the personal experience of seeing the effects of aging with family and friends and has helped her parents find the resources they need as they have aged including helping them through a recent move in to a senior living community. “Knowing the resources available to help seniors and their families through a difficult transition and personally experiencing it has motivated me to be there for others” says Liz.

Liz is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® which requires her to pass a rigorous exam, a background-check, continuing education and to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of the health and welfare of older adults. Liz’s goal is to serve you, your loved ones and our community by being a trusted advisor to help navigate you through the many challenges and choices of finding a senior living community or other resources. “As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® I understand the many issues with finding the right solution. I am here to guide you as well as empower you to make the right decision” advised Liz.

Liz is a native of Oregon and has lived in Hillsboro for over 29 years with her husband Doug. She has two kids who both attended University of Oregon (Go Ducks!). Liz enjoys spending time on the Columbia River on her floating home and various boats collected by her husband, especially their “newest” boat, a 1971 Grand Banks 32. She also loves to read and has just taken up photography as a hobby. Liz has a BA degree from Western Oregon University, a Master’s degree from Central Michigan University and is a Certified Senior Advisor ®. Liz is the Vice President on the board of directors for Care Partners Hospice, on the board for Senior Provider Information Network (SPIN) and is president of Oregon Senior Referral Agency Association.
